I joined a team of 5 to work at Orai, just as we joined the inaugural Philadelphia Techstars Accelerator. Orai uses AI to analyze voice recordings and help learners improve their speaking based on metrics including pace, filler words, energy, conciseness, confidence, and clarity.

I built out our user research and design approach and hired 2 designers. Initially, learners spent 2+ hours in Orai on their first day before dropping off, so we improved day 2 and 3 retention and launched Orai Journey, a multi-week training through which we measured 10% improvement in overall speech for enterprise teams.
